Our lives are often marked by certain circumstances that shape the way we are, and even more so the things we love. Our childhoods had a special mix of songs from the telenovelas and tv shows that were part of it. Here are some of the most unforgettable songs from our childhoods.

1. “Rebelde,” RBD

From the iconic and super successful soap opera by the same name, which watching it now as an adult, we shouldn’t have been watching while we were in elementary school.

2. “Lo Siento,” Belinda

This child star starred in many kids soap operas like; Cómplices al Rescate, Amigos Por Siempre, Aventuras en el Tiempo, and many more. While being a successful actress, she had a very successful career as a singer as well. Though this was one of her very first singles, it was a song that was super popular back in the day.

3. “Coleccionista de Canciones,” Camila

One of the most recognized and successful songs of this group (now a duo), that was even the theme song for the soap opera, Las Dos Caras de Ana.

4. “Oops I Did it Again,” Britney Spears

Simply iconic. Britney was and will always be the Princess of Pop, no doubt.

5. “What Dreams Are Made Of,” Hilary Duff

This song just makes you want to travel to Rome with Lizzie and Gordo (where the hell was Miranda???), and become a pop star.

6. “The Start of Something New,” High School Musical

Who didn’t spend their childhood wishing they would find a real life Troy to sing at the top of your lungs with? The answer is me, I always wanted to be Sharpay so I’m not into romantic stuff. Jk I did want to date Troy.

7. “Best of Both Worlds,” Hannah Montana

If you didn’t sing this song at the top of your lungs when the show was starting, did you even like Hannah Montana?
