5 Simple Ways To Make Your Mornings Easier

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPRM chapter.

If you’re not a morning person and struggle to get up early in the morning, you know all too well how dreadful morning routines can be. However, there are simple and quick tricks that you can do before going to bed that can make you mornings much easier, here are some suggestions.

1. Choose your outfit beforehand

Deciding what to wear the night before or even choosing a week’s worth of outfits every Sunday can save you a lot of time in the morning. Not having to scan through your closet 20 times and thinking that you have absolutely nothing to wear will get you out the door early and with no fuss.

2. Organize your backpack the night before

Leaving your backpack ready the night before with all of the essentials you need for the next day could potentially save you from spending a lot of time looking for and getting everything together in the morning.

3. Prepare your breakfast beforehand

Meal prepping for any meal is a great way to save money and time. There are many meal prepping breakfast recipes that are healthy and quick, from overnight oats, fruit salads, smoothies, egg muffins, you name it! All of which can save you time and not having to starve until lunch.

4. Organize your toiletries

Organizing and keeping together things like your toothbrush, face wash, deodorant, etc., especially if you share a bathroom and don’t keep these essentials there, can save you from frantically running around your hospedaje because you can’t find your razor.

5. Avoid Social Media

Social Media can be quite time-consuming in general, but specially in the mornings. Avoiding them until you get to your destination or are sitting doing to have breakfast can help you have some spare time in the morning and not be so rushed.
