It’s all fun and games until you encounter a street filled to the brim with an ocean of people. If the classic SanSe event isn’t quite your scene, here’s some alternative events going down this weekend!

FOK Brewing Co. Sanse en Caguas

#ApoyaLoLocal this weekend with FOK Brewing Co.! This Puerto Rican brewery is located in Caguas and provides many local restaurants with the best artisanal beer you’ve ever had. They’ve created an event with the intention of providing a more chill vibe that takes the classic concepts of the SanSe without the wild late night crowds. The event will be running from Friday, January 19th to Sunday, January 21st. There will be food trucks, salsa classes, artisans, live music, and more!

¡Los niños celebran las SanSe! At the Jardín Botánico UPR

A more child-oriented activity, this event is also conveniently located at the Jardin Botánico of UPR! Running from Saturday, January 20th to Sunday, January 21st, this event will include activities such as creative workshops, theater presentations, artisanal booths, and more!

Mercado 23: Diseñadores Locales at Lote 23

Love fashion? Love gourmet food equally (or even more)? Then Lote 23 is the spot for you! Nestled in the heart of the culturally rich Santurce, this gourmet food stand lot is going to be hosting a market chock full of local designers this Saturday, January 20th at 1:00 pm. It’s a beautiful combination: buy the best food in town and shop for clothes made by local fashion designers. Doesn’t get much better than that.

SanSe 2018 at the Mercado Libre

Last but not least, another fabulous market, located in Santurce, El Mercado Libre will be hosting an event rich with artists, music, wine, and cheese. I don’t know about you, but they had me at wine and cheese! The event will run from Saturday, January 19th to Sunday, January 20th.
