Poetic Mondays: Never enough
Well here we go again with more mondays full of poetry, and what better way to kick-off the semester than with a whole new set of poems. Today we’re featuring a poem written by one of our very own UPR contributors and it’s about just saying goodbye to that relationship you thought you weren’t good for, but really it was the one that wasn’t good for you.
There you go, there we go
We’re in love!
At least I thought
You with me, me with you
How could this ever end so soon?
Something is wrong
My love for you was never enough
Dude! Are you nuts?
I gave you all and still you need more?
What is selfish, if not you?
By now you should know
I left you behind a very thick wall,
Of pain and grudges I can never live by
That’s your world, not mine
Goodbye my love,
Goodbye tough heart,
I need to go find myself,
From whom, I’ve lost
