I’m Hoping These 6 Winter Trends Make a Spring Comeback

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPR chapter.

Even though some places are freezing cold and other places still feel like summer, winter fashion makes it unique and exclusive for the holidays. Since its the Holiday season, there are plenty of people who take it as a personal challenge to dress as bold as possible. Over the month of December, I made it my mission to keep on the lookout for the most fashionable trends. I really hope these stay relevant!

Business casual?

Blazers are definitely back and perfect for the holidays. Either colorful, plain, patterned or glitter, a blazer suit with heels levels up your look making you look bold, powerful and confident. A clothing style being worn that is usually related to men is a powerful statement. Plus, it looks amazing.

Blendin’

Animal print went from being considered a complete failure to the ultimate fashion trend. You can pick from so many types of prints: cheetah print, snakeskin, or cow, crocodile, and it goes on and on. The big issue with animal print is matching it. such a loud print can be difficult to style. But, the trick is, match this statement with a neutral color! It’ll make you stand out at any party. And, when in doubt, just wear something animal print with all black!

Disco ball, gurrrrl

Finding the perfect outfit for New Year’s Eve is usually a headache, after all, you’re welcoming a new year and with that has to match a great look. Some people shell out serious cash for the perfect New Year’s Outfit. Why let it sit in your closet after the fact? A glitter dress will make you shine in every room without needing many accessories. You can dress it down with a black blazer and sneakers.

Pom pom head

Headbands, headbands, and more headbands, that’s the current trend. Lately, everyone has been very into pompom headbands. They’re back and perfect for any occasion. What’s great about headbands is that they can be worn with a variety of outfits. You can perhaps wear them for a simple gathering during the day with jeans and a top. They’re also incredibly easy to DIY.

2000’s Avril Lavinge Called

Dresses or skirts paired with sneakers are an outfit that can be worn for multiple occasions whether during daytime or nighttime. White sneakers are big in fashion right now and can be matched with almost everything. Wear them with long skirts or a short loose dress for any occasion. This is an especially comfy outfit for lazy university days!.

You’re a fairy princess!

From tulle skirts to tulle shirts, tulle, in general, is a beautiful trend that can be worn in many unique ways. Pastels tulle skirts are a stunning way to look high fashion without the effort. They look great with heels or sneakers. Plus, you’ll look like an ethereal goddess.

Pastels, glitter, prints, sneakers, and bold looks were great trends for winter 2019. I really want these to stick around! Imagine a tulle skirt in the middle of a field. You’ll look like the fairy of your dreams. Sequin shirts with loose denim look cute and high-maintenance while actually not being a hassle. Don’t forget to tag us on Instagram if you adapt any of these looks! We’d love to see them.
