This semester has been stressful to stay the least, but just as finals roll around don’t forget to treat yourself. You deserve it. With the right playlist, some nice aromatherapy (candles are a must) and possibly some nice tea, the semester can end on a better note, at least for one night. Using fresh ingredients, mostly straight from the kitchen, anyone can afford to concoct these scrubs that will leave your skin feeling like a baby’s bottom.

 

Coffee Boost: this scrub is my personal favorite to use before a night out as the caffeine is especially complementary to “wake up” your tired skin.

 

½ cup of ground coffee

½ cup of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of Olive Oil

2 tablespoons of Honey

 

Refresh: Sensitive on the skin and just enough exfoliation to recharge the driest of skin.

 

½ cup of oatmeal

½ of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

2 tablespoons of olive oil

 

Date Night: Perfect for a date because of the soft scent that lingers on your skin long after the scrub has been washed away.

 

½ brown sugar

½ salt

3 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of vanilla extract

 

 

Wake Up!: This scrub is great for a quick morning where feeling fresh fast is all that matters.

3 tablespoons coconut oil

1 tablespoon of olive oil

1-2 freshly squeezed lemons
