Campus Cutie: Diego Hernandez

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UPR chapter.

Tall, dark and handsome: need we say more? This week’s Campus Cutie just came back from a semester abroad in Spain, has a smile you won’t easily forget,  is eloquent and amazingly kind. Meet this week’s Campus Cutie, Diego Hernández!

Name: Diego Alejandro Hernández EstevezAge: 20Major: EconomicsRelationship status: SingleHometown:  San Juan, Puerto RicoFavorite food: ItalianFavorite place: It’s a tie between Barcelona and Paris

HC UPR: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?Diego: I’d like to finish my bachelor’s degree, go to law school and hopefully find a good job.

HC UPR: What’s your favorite hobby?Diego: Definitely playing soccer, and watching it. To say I’m a huge fan is an understatement.

HC UPR: The weekend comes, and your schedule is free. What are your plans?Diego:  I love taking road trips all over the island – whether it’s going to a secluded beach or going deep in the mountains to a river, I can’t get enough of local tourism.

HC UPR: What do you look for in a girl?Diego:  I really admire a person who isn’t afraid to learn from themselves and from other people.  Impressions are also really important. The first impression is always physical; but for me, the more important impression is the one that comes next: their personality.

HC UPR: What’s your idea of a perfect first date?Diego: For a first date, I’d take a girl out to El Morro, and have a picnic with a bottle of wine. Something relaxed, where we can really get to know each other.

HC UPR: What would you say is a deal breaker for you?Diego: For me, it’s really disappointing to be with someone who can’t stick to their decisions. I like to surround myself with people who are sure of themselves, who aren’t negative and who aren’t afraid to take action.
