Trevin Davis: Aspiring Male Model

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNT chapter.

Sleek and stylish in the latest minimalist style, wide-brimmed hat and black dress shoes, Trevin Davis looks like he just walked out of the pages of an Urban Outfitters catalog.

The 19-year old sophomore design management major has always been interested in photography and styling. So modeling was just the next step down that line. He’s been modeling for a little over a year.

“I had a very particular idea of what I wanted from photography and styling and it was a lot easier to work with myself than try and explain my ideas to a group,” Trevin said.

Trevin’s favorite fashion designer is Raf Simmons and some of his idols include Freddie Mercury and Linda Evangelista. Outside of modeling, he hopes to manage a fashion or furniture design firm and live abroad, fully immersed in the cultures and arts.

When asked to share something he thinks is important about breaking into modeling, he had this to say:

“I think that style and individuality are some of the most important concepts that any person can understand.”

Trevin is currently planning on taking a trip to Marfa, TX during Spring Break to work on his “Looks in Motion” YouTube series.
