Sad Girl Songs to Scream in the Car

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNT chapter.

This may be a little weird, but I absolutely love sad songs. I love driving with the windows down, screaming the lyrics at the top of my lungs, and just letting all my frustrations out. In case 2021 is already turning out to be a bad year for you, here are some sad songs I reccomend:

  1. “Walked Through Hell” by Anson Seabra

  2. “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo

  3. “Champagne Problems” by Taylor Swift

  4. “Be Alright” by Dean Lewis

  5. “Is It Just Me?” By Emily Burns

  6. “Back to December- Acoustic Version” by Taylor Swift

  7. “Haunted” by Taylor Swift

  8. “She’s Mine” by Lauren Weintraub

  9. “To Love Someone Else” by Avery Lynch

  10. “Closure” by Hayley Warner

Hey! I'm a senior at UNT majoring in Integrative Studies with fields in Political Science, International Studies, and Public Administration. I am also double minoring in Communication Studies and Women and Gender Studies. I love reading, writing, hanging out with my friends, and serving my community. I hope to graduate with honors from UNT in May of 2021 and then head to law school in the fall.
