The best part of being gifted with a new year is that we are given the oppurtunity for reinvention, reflection and discovery. As a girl repping team spotify, one of my favorite parts of the new year is recieving playlist after playlists of new or undiscovered music to expand my palate.

With the closing of January, why not bake two cakes with one oven and reflect on my music finds of January while also helping our readers discover some new tunes? As a preface, my music taste is best described as an obscure indie film soundtrack.
