Fall is here and better weather is near. Just because summer is over does not mean it is the end of all of the fun. Here you can find a list of things to do this fall when you have a little free time and want to do some fun activities with your friends!

  • Haunted Houses

  • Bruce Hall– UNT’s very own student organization host a haunted house on campus every year. Have you ever heard that Bruce is haunted? Well, now you know. Go and check out why it’s one of the scariest places on campus!
  • The Parker House
  • The Dark Path Haunt– Visit the outdoor attraction that takes place at one of the scariest spots in Denton: Old Alton Bridge a.k.a “Goatmans Bridge”. Be able to witness all of the paranormal activity and haunting noises.

  • Escape Room – How would you feel if you were stuck in a room and only had one hour to get out? That’s the purpose of The Escape Room. You and your group are given a set of clues to give you hints on how you can get out of there, but it is up to you guys to put your heads together and come up with some sort of plan to break out!

  • Bonfire – Bonfires usually symbolizes celebration so why wouldn’t you want to be a part of it? The University of North Texas Talons are hosting a bonfire event on November 4 at 8 p.m.
  •                      2323 N. Interstate 35 E.

  • Stargaze– Every now and then life will slap you in the face and you may need to take a break. When that time comes, grab a friend, a blanket and lay out on the grass and become engulfed with the sight of the stars.

  • Halloween Movie Night– Halloween is probably the second best time of the year for movies. What is better than cuddling up with a bowl of popcorn in front of your television hoping the monster in the movie does not come knocking at your front door making you his next victim? Nothing, I didn’t think so.

  • Drive in Movie- Tired of the same old local movie theater? Having to deal with people who will not shut up and uncomfortable seats? Eating overpriced candy and popcorn? If you answered yes to any or all of these questions then I may have a solution for you. There is a new drive in movie theater opening in late October called “Coyote Drive-In”. Grab a picnic basket filled with your favorite goodies and a couple of blankets and enjoy the show.
  • 1901 Midway Road, Lewisville, TX 75056

  • Walk at Denton Square- It is no surprise that college students are BROKE. So that essentially means that anything that we plan to do will most likely be really low on cost. Our favorite word is “FREE” and taking a walk downtown at the square is definitely FREE. Just do not get suckered into buying things at the various boutiques and stores. That’s when “free” turns into “expensive”.
