As a college student, I am always looking for ways to get the most of the food places on and near off-campus, from value menus to tips and tricks that I have learned.

1. Chipotle

Alright, get a bowl and everything you normally get but add tortillas on the side. They are completely free of charge. Now you have a burrito (or two) and a bowl.

2. Burger King

The value menu is literally called value for a reason. Those Chicken Jr.’s are VALUE-able. And the value fries as well? Say less.

3. Taco Bueno

The Bueno values are great as well. Adding everything inside from pico de gallo to salsa makes it even bigger, which provides larger fillings.

4. Starbucks

Forget the ice. Ask for light ice. Or just ask for a cup of ice on the side. Remember, you are paying for the drink, not a mountain of ice.

I am still fairly new at learning more ways to eat cheap. So far, these tips have kept my wallet from denting so far in. Good luck eating cheap. We are in this together.
