No matter what is going on at the moment, I know I can always run to music. Music is my holy grail, whether I’m sad, happy, ecstatic or even just bored. Whether I’m dancing in my room, jamming out in the car, working out, studying or being dramatic on the bus on the way home, MUSIC always knows how to match the situation I’m going through. Music is a source that I know I can always fall back on. Without it i’m sure I’d be confused and a mess! Here are my top 5 songs that are my absolute favorite and what they mean to me. This band first of all is the absolute BEST! I love their vibe, tone and musicality. I’m going through a rough five year break up, and I know its depressing. To me, this song is about a couple who is so toxic and dependent on each other that they stay in such a unhealthy relationship. For so long they choose to stay together because they are all they’ve ever known. Until the end, when they both end up realizing that they cannot hurt each other anymore, so it’s best to part ways. It is such an awesome song with a cool vibe and great lyrics. This band is different and unique. I LOVE IT!

This song is so beautiful. It gets me excited for the future and hopeful that one day I’ll meet my partner who loves me, adores me and accepts me for me. I can’t help but wanna go country dancing when I hear this song. Luke Combs has an amazing voice!

This song will always be one of my all time favorites. I remember when this song came out, I was a senior in high school. This was my anthem, and all my friends. We’d drive to South Padre Island with the window down. It makes me feel free, young and a little reckless.

Frank Ocean is just a literal piece of art. This song is a masterpiece. I love listening to this song full blast in car.

This will always be a bop. My six younger siblings and I are always jamming out to this when I go home for break. I listen to this song whenever I miss home, it means a lot to me. Besides that, I really shipped Drake and Rihanna together, lol.
