In the age of streaming, platforms are constantly putting out original content in order to keep audiences around. In the past few years, Netflix has really stepped up its game—here are four shows exclusive to Netflix that you need to binge right now.

Locke and Key This show was originally a book series that I hadn’t read. I watched the trailer and thought it was a bit childish for me. Then I watched the first episode and I was instantly hooked. There are ten episodes, and each range around an hour. I finished this show in a day and my sleep schedule is still recovering. This show is about a family who moves to their late dads childhood home. It doesn’t take long for them to unravel the unreal mysteries of the house. Things don’t come easily with the things they find though.

The Circle- I started The Circle when I saw my sister watching it and I thought it looked like an interesting show. It starts with players trying to impress the others and being the “most popular.” What’s interesting is that each contestant is in their own apartment with no human contact till the end of the game, or when they get kicked off. While people get kicked off the show, new people come in. Those who make it the longest in the show get to be up for a special prize at the end.

Cheer- This show is probably the one that I started without any recommendations from anyone. I also watched this in a day and it had me leaning off my seat towards the end. Navarro College is based in Corsicana, Texas. It’s a small town that is kinda in between Dallas and Waco. Although this college is small, its cheer team is the best in the nation. This show goes through the minds of some of the students on the team and also the lead up to the biggest competition of the year.

Love is Blind- The only word I have to describe this show is wow. I watched all of the first five episodes with some of the girls in Her Campus, and we were all shook at what it was about. It starts with people talking to each other and trying to find their future spouse. The only catch is that they can’t meet each other until they agree to marry each other. Some people don’t find a match and some people have to choose between more than one person. New episodes are released on Thursday’s, so we’ll see if any of them make it to their weddings, which they only have a month to prepare for once they get engaged.
