As a huge lover of Disney, Disney+ has been a gift send from above these past few months. In no particular order, here are 10 Disney films you need to watch right now. 

1. Smart House

Smart House came out in 1999 and has a futuristic vibe to it. A family wins a new house that has many new features that hasn’t been seen before. They move in and in an attempt to stop his dad from dating, Ben programs the new smart house to act as a motherly figure in hopes that his dad wouldn’t want to replace his mom. Things backfire and the Cooper family have to figure out how to fix it. 

2. The Cheetah Girls

The Cheetah Girls came out in 2003, and includes four girls from different backgrounds that are best friends. These four girls have a band and get the chance to have an elusive record deal. While facing their own struggles, they have the problems of the band on top of that. Though times are tough, they still have each other. 

3. Freaky Friday

Freaky Friday came out in 2003, too, and it’s about a mother and daughter that are completely different. They go out to eat and receive a fortune cookie while there–when they read their fortunes, things go wrong. The next day they wake up and realize that they have switched bodies with no idea how to switch back. They have to go about their day as the other until they find out how to fix their freaky situation. 

4. Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century came out in 1999, and is also a futuristic movie. Zenon grew up and lives on a space shuttle right outside of Earth. She’s a troublemaker and ends up being sent down to Earth to stay with her aunt while an important person comes to the ship. She suspects the important man is bad and finds a way to save the day.

5. Big Fat Liar

Big Fat Liar came out in 2002, and deals with a kid named Jason who writes a last minute paper in hopes of not going to summer school. When a big time writer gets a hold of the paper while driving him to meet with his teacher, he keeps it and makes a movie out of it. Danny must get his revenge and a statement to prove that he did in fact write Big Fat Liar. 

6. Now You See It…

Now You See It… came out in 2005, and deals with a wannabe girl who gets a shot of being a director for a magic show. Each teen producer finds a young magician and they help them get ready for the big finale at the end. However, Danny Sinclair has a few different tricks up his sleeve that no one else understands. 

7. The Thirteenth Year

The Thirteenth Year came out in 1999. Cody Johnson is twelve, and has no idea that he is adopted and that his real mom was a mermaid. As his thirteenth birthday comes, Cody starts experiencing some weird things. He zaps his alarm clock, things are sticking to him, he can swim faster, and he starts growing scales on his hands and arms. With the help from his tutor, Jess, they conclude he is turning into a merman. 

8. Cadet Kelly

Cadet Kelly came out in 2002, and includes a girl who is forced to attend military school after her mom marries the principal of the academy. At first, she is angry and isn’t doing anything right. After a change of heart and a lot of discipline, she gets involved in the school and ends up being happy there. 

9. Minutemen

Minutemen came out in 2008, and includes three highschool boys who invent a time machine. They use this machine for good and use it to go back in time and help students from embarrassing situations. Because of this, the government hears of their invention and sends people after them. That’s not the only problem, though. Going back in time can create some serious problems within the space time continuum and it creates a black hole. Can these three highschoolers fix everything?

10. Luck of the Irish

Luck of the Irish came out in 2001, and deals with a teenage boy finds out he is Irish and somehow loses a very important gold coin. This gold coin stays in the hands of the youngest family member and lets them go on as a human. Since the gold coin is gone, him and his mother start becoming leprechauns. Kyle Johnson must figure out how to get the gold coin back from the evil leprechaun.
