Why Coffee Table Books Are Everything

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

I’m not a gold star example of a book worm by no means. But I know a quality coffee-table book when I see one. These books are a perfect accessory to your living space because they are great for re-reading and for guests to peek at. I personally love humorous little books that show off a small part of my personality that hides sometimes. In a way, your selection of coffee-table books represents pieces of your personality and should be chosen in harmony with your aesthetic for life. Some of my favorite books I have for my living space include a collection of Audrey Hepburn photographs in the 1950’s and the book “Adulthood is a Myth: A Sarah’s Scribbles Collection,” by Sarah Andersen. These two diverse pieces are breezy reads (mostly pictures), and put a smile on my face every time I open them up. I know I will hold on to these books for a long time and they will have a home on my coffee table for years to come. If you are looking for a gift for someone I highly recommend browsing your local bookstore or Barnes and Noble for these types of books. They are rarely that expensive either and they show that you know your friends taste and personality. If you are interested in the books that I mentioned before I have links to them down below!
