Opening November 15th, the Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall in Gretna, Nebraska plans to draw customers from a 150-mile radius and generate more than $150 million in sales every year. The development plans to feature over 70 stores and restaurants including Michael Kors, Nike, Adidas, Forever 21, Scooters, Coach, Auntie Anne’s, Columbia, and many more. Â
On November 14th a fashion show will be held at the mall, along with a performance by Grammy award-winning songwriter and rapper, Eve. Omaha Fashion Week will feature 60 looks from the mall’s retailers in the fashion show. The event is invitation only but the public can sign up to receive an invitation at nexoutlets.com
The Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall will have stores that typical malls have but they will have different pricing. For example, the Old Navy store will be like other Old Navy stores but will offer more sales and discounts because of the outlet’s location, at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Highways 6 and 31.
Outlet malls feature great shopping deals. Nebraska Crossing Outlet’s property manager, Kelly Calderone, said retailers are required to offer discounts. Just like common malls and other shopping centers, the outlet mall will have extra deals during the holiday season, including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend.
At 9:00a.m. on the 15th there will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the mall will open to the public at 10 a.m. The regular hours for the outlet center will be Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
