MEET THE TEAM: Catherine Brackett

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

HC: What are your biggest accomplishments thus far in college?

Catherine: I believe my biggest accomplishments in college so far are the people I’ve made connections with and experiences I been able to have just from being fortunate enough to attend a university.

HC: Who/What inspires you day to day?

Catherine: I try my best to surround myself with people who constantly inspire me and have a positive influence on my life. Everyone I surround myself with inspires me.

HC: What is your future dream career?

Catherine: I have so many different things I want to do with my life, but I think above all I would love to find myself in Europe working for Vogue.

HC: What is fashion to you?

Catherine: Fashion is everything to me: its influence, culture, diversity, inspiration, expression and so much more.

HC: How else are you involved on campus?

Catherine: On campus, I’ve been involved in dormitory senate, the Daily Nebraskan, Her Campus, French Club and CollegeFashionista.

HC: What’s your craziest college memory?

Catherine: My craziest college memory had to be the time I met and hung out with Waka Flocka flame during his stay in Lincoln. That was wild to say the least!

HC: What is your favorite part about her campus?

Catherine: My favorite part are probably the girls who are involved. I’ve loved getting to know them and have realized there’s so much more to each of them than meets the eye! They’re so inspiring.

HC: Is the glass half full or half empty? Why do you believe so?

Catherine: In my case, the glass is half full. I go by something my dad always says: “If you have food in your cupboard, you’re already better off than someone else.”

HC: Favorite store to shop at?

Catherine: My favorite store to shop at, if you know me at all, is Anthropologie. Duh.

HC: If you could be a crayon, what color would you be?

Catherine: Ballerina pink.
