Justine’s Jams: March Picks

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNL chapter.

Time to do some spring cleaning for your playlist. Check out these six new songs I’ve rounded up for some fresh new jams!

1. Khalid – Saved

Listen to the album American Teen by Khalid if you haven’t already because it is pure gold. Saved is one of my favorite songs off the album, but 8TEEN and Coasting are also some great jams influenced by 80’s R&B for when you are just trying to chill.

2. Lorde – Liability

I’m sure you’ve heard Green Light by now, but this new track off Lorde’s upcoming album Melodrama (releasing June 16th!) is going to be your new go to “belt-it-out-in-the-shower” song.

3. Brian Fresco feat. Chance the Rapper & Blue Hawaii – Higher

Everyone’s new favorite rapper, Chance, has teamed up with Fresco to create a hip-hop/rap/electronic/dance song. I can already picture groups of girls who have had one too many Dirty Shirley’s dancing their hearts out to this on the dance floor.

4. K.Flay – High Enough

This indie-rock number from one of my all time favorite artists (check out her songs FML and Make Me Fade) will bring out your tough girl side.

5. Post Malone feat. Kehlani – Feel

You can never, ever go wrong with Lana. This song is meant for sunny Sunday cruising with the windows down. Warning: This will be stuck in your head all day long.
