Did you know that there is a color of the year announced annually by Pantone? You probably saw the color Marsala (dark reddish color) everywhere last year and that’s because it was the 2015 color of the year. Well this year Pantone is shaking things up and for the first time ever they declared two colors for 2016. They selected Rose Quartz and Serenity which are two ridiculously gorgeous hues. I threw some outfits together incorporating the colors so you can be inspired to rock the trendy shades of 2016!
This look is a chic way to rock the look with your favorite pair of jeans. Pair the denim with a blushy pink top and accessorize to fit your taste. Rose Quartz is a fabulous color for clothing because it’s crazy versatile and can act as a neutral.
This outfit is a great way to wear a dress and still be comfortable. I love the idea of wearing oxford or saddle like shoes with a frock. They elevate your style and are easy to walk in! I threw in a fun pair of rounded sunglasses for this look as well. I think every girl needs a pair, whether they are a fun color or interesting shape.
Lastly I decided to put together a casual comfy outfit for those days where we can’t imagine wearing actual pants. You can find a Serenity colored sweater or sweatshirt almost anywhere. Just throw that over a pair of black leggings and you’re good to go.
