HC: What do you like to do in your free time; any hobbies/special interests?
EW: I volunteer with a Ukrainian Family and teach them English, Fraternity events throughout the week, running, biking, and unfortunately a great portion of my week is studying and doing homework
HC: Where do you see yourself in ten years?
EW: I hope to be in a position involved in a couple of idealistic fields. I have a few potential ideas. I want to be involved in the peace corps and give back to the global community, be involved in some capacity with global business, or teaching one of my foreign languages.
HC: If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?
EW: My dream vacation is to Russia for the Olympics. I want to go Sochi because people from around the world are currently there, and also Russian culture interests me.
HC: If you could change anything about yourself, would you? And what would it be?
EW: I would change the color of my hair. I used to have really blonde hair as a child but now it is a dark brown color.
HC: What are your pet peeves?
EW: When people have a lack of self confidence and self worth.
HC: What is your worst fear?
EW: My worst fear would be to be stuck in a place with a continuous winter.
HC: We’ve all had embarrassing moments…. would you mind sharing one of yours?
EW: My life is filled with embarrassing events. One that comes to mind is when I was in Costa Rica this past summer. I was attempting to go to a rather steep hill and lost control and just fell down the entire large hill practically. I came home covered in grass stains, dirt, mud, and just in general dirty everywhere. I then had to explain what had happened to me to my host mom we both then proceded to laugh about this image for quite a while.
HC: And of course I have to ask, what’s your favorite part of being a Husker?
EW: My favorite part of being a husker is the general comrodery that eminates at every husker sporting event that I attend.
