Name: Kevin Shannon
Year: Senior
Major: Computer Science
Relationship Status: Single

Hobbies: Watching TV and movies, road trips, learning how to cook, bowling, going to UNI sporting events and CAB movies, exploring Cedar Falls and the Cedar Valley.

Favorite TV Show: Big Bang Theory

Favorite Breakfast Cereal: Honey Nut Cheerios (perfect balance of sweet and healthy)

Favorite Song to Jam Out to: Anything by Green Day or Black Eyed Peas. My radio’s usually on the Top 40 station.

Biggest Pet Peeve: People who don’t clean up after themselves or don’t finish a project. Don’t you hate when someone signs up for a group project but doesn’t follow through? I have some awesome people in my classes this semester, but that’s not always the case.

Favorite Class You’ve Taken: Well, I’m in World Geography with Dr. Weller and Campus Cutie Eric Carlson and it’s an awesome class, but I also like the Humanities class I am in now because it is interactive, we give presentations, and I feel like the time flies by!

Describe Your Ideal Girl: In two words, I’d say techie Christian. Jokes aside, I am looking for a girl who feels confident in herself and what she does. I’d like her to have good morals and family values. I’m going to be graduating with a degree here in May and I’d hope she agrees that higher education and intelligence is important. Also, since I’m a geek, I’d hope she likes technology and/or is willing to learn more about it. I’m always up for an adventure, so I’d hope she’d go along with that too!

Favorite Spot to Take a Date: Dinner, a show, and a walk down Main Street CF. The Waterloo-CF Symphony offers a fun experience for a college student price.

Plans after Graduating: After graduating in May, I plan to move to the Des Moines area and start a career with a company in their IT department. My internship led me to a job, and I couldn’t be more excited!
