What is your favorite part of UNI?  The people I get to meet are my favorite. It is very home-like on campus.

Why did you choose UNI?I had the cliché “this is the right college” feeling during my tour.

What is your favorite college memory?  Being involved and getting the opportunities to travel to places like Seattle and Orlando, for PRSSA, Public Relations Student Society of America.

What are your plans after UNI?After UNI I see myself living in Los Angeles or New York City working for an entertainment agency, either for models or actors. I want to eventually become an agent at a major agency.

What activities are you involved with on campus?I am involved in PRSSA, Public Relations Student Society of America, and the student run public relations firm on campus.

What is your dream job?My dream job would be to become a movie star and be able to live the life they do. I would love to travel around the world and see so many amazing things.

What do you like to do in your free time? When I get free time, I usually take advantage of that time by taking a good nap. But my favorite things to do are going to the movies and just hanging out with my friends.

Any inspiring quotes you like or live by?  It’s not necessarily a quote, but I just like to be myself and act how I do, regardless of people’s thoughts.

Lottie is a junior at the University of Northern Iowa and she is a communications major with a journalism minor. She has always had a passion for fashion and writing, so she figured, why not combine them? She was a writer for Her Campus only one semester before becoming the Editor-in-chief and campus correspondent for fall of 2011. Lottie is very excited to take on the challenge and to make great things happen with Her Campus magazine.
