I am a big advocate for buying plants to solve all of your problems and plan to cover my house in plants when I am older. When I was younger, I would visit the gardening center with my dad and get caught up in the indoor plant room. To this day I still go with him whenever he is picking something up. I am mesmerized with how unique each of them are, and I especially like seeing the leafy plants with pink colored veins. Over the years I have owned a lot of plants, including an English Ivy, some succulents, a Crispy Wave, a Painted-Leaf Begonia and both white and pink Nerve Plants. Although not all of them have survived, I still have one of my plants from my senior year of high school’s botany class and am happy to say it is thriving.

Not only are plants a great decoration to brighten up your space, but they are also proven to improve your mental health. I could not say why, but I really enjoy taking care of my plants. I have a pretty easy job of misting them every few days, but I still get a sense of satisfaction from keeping them healthy and alive. The great thing is you do not have to get a high maintenance plant, and many require so little care. One of the easiest plants I have cared for is my English Ivy, which does not need a lot of water or light to survive. I often look for low-light plants since my room does not get a lot of sunlight. Additionally, plants are known to purify the air which is an incentive to owning a lot of them. I would recommend looking at your local gardening center, and hopefully you will find a plant to bring home!
