Why You Should Always Have a Positive Outlook on Life

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

Maybe you’re just having one of those days, maybe you’re having one of those weeks. You just wish you could stay in bed all day and forget reality exists. Theres nothing wrong with a lazy day but don’t let something temporary make you feel like things won’t get better.

There’s always something to look forward to in life, whether its summer, a concert or even getting to return to UNH in the fall. Don’t let the little things cloud the big picture. No matter what is getting you down in the dumps now, probably wont matter a year from now. Even if you failed that big exam you stayed up all night studying for, the consequences won’t last forever. Plus, what’s done is done right? No going back now, might as well have a positive outlook and move on than spend your time dwelling on something you can’t change.

As corny as the sayings are “its a bad day, not a bad life” and “what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” are, they’re true. If you even feel like you need some extra reasurrance go on instagram and search for any quote accounts. Its a garentee there is plenty of positive quotes to relate what your’e going through.

As Pitbull quotes in Time of Our Lives,

“This for anybody going through tough times

believe me, been there, done that

But everyday above ground is a great day, remember that.”

If Pitbull can do it, so can you.
