Ever look forward to a show at the end of a long day? From experience, I believe having at least one television show to watch may just be the one thing that makes you happy that day.

Here are five reasons why starting that new television series is a good idea:

  1. Allows you to get together/connect with family and friends
  2. Gives you something to look forward to at the end of a long day
  3. Easy way of entertainment/mental stimulation
  4. Allows you to relax and unwind
  5. May broaden your knowledge

For some more tips, here are a combination of some television series of all different genres that I have watched and recommend:

  • Gilmore Girls: about a mom and a daughter who go through many different life experiences and obstacles together.
  • The Fosters: about the complexities of a family and how foster children become family (lots of drama in this one).
  • Gossip Girl: focused on the drama of high school kids living in the Upper East Side of Manhattan.
  • Pretty Little Liars: a classic in my opinion — more of a thriller show —with lots of suspense and twists.

Have fun watching!
