Although we may be reluctant to admit, we all keep up with what the hottest celebrities are doing. If you’re like me, your Instagram feed is filled with the hottest movie stars, pop culture icons, and models. E news is your go-to source for new information. Throughout the years some of the best and most popular Halloween costumes have been celebrities. We’ve seen different versions of Brittney spears, Kim Kardashian look alikes, and Miley Cyrus’s 2013 VMA performance. With Halloween just around the corner I decided to look back at some of the hottest stars in Hollywood and their best Halloween costumes. While scrolling through their so called “best costumes” I realized that the funniest and most iconic costumes were celebrities dressed as other celebrities. Let’s take a look at some of the best of these celeb costumes over the years:
1. Chrissy Teigen as Guy Fieri
This is my all-time favorite celebrity Halloween costume. In 2015, one of the funniest and controversial celebrities dressed as one of the funniest and most entertaining men on The Food Network. If you don’t know who I’m talking about its Chrissy Teigen dressed as GUY FIERI. Yes, I said it, Guy Fieri. If you don’t know who these two celebs are, Chrissy Teigen is married to John Legend and stars on Lip Sync Battle a popular TV show. Guy Fieri is the face of Food Networks most popular TV show “Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives”. Chrissy went all out with a full wig, beard and his iconic sunglasses. She looked like Guy’s twin. These two celebs combined called for one of the most iconic, yet underrated costumes of all time and my personal favorite.
2. Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom as Bill and Hilary Clinton
On Halloween of 2016, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom dressed up as Hilary and Bill Clinton. The couple had full hair and makeup, and by full I mean special effects masks and wigs to replicate exactly what Bill and Hilary look like. Katy Perry wore this to show public political support for Hilary in the 2016 election which was just a week after Halloween. Katy Perry always has the most elaborate and thought out costumes so this wasn’t a shock to any of us. She once dressed as a hot Cheeto and a “mic drop”.
3. Kylie Jenner dressed as Christina Aguilera in her music video “Dirrty” in 2016
This may have been one of the most iconic celeb costumes throughout the years and was idolized for weeks following. Kylie Jenner, one of the most controversial celebs of all time, sure shook things up on Halloween of 2016 dressing as Christina Aguilera in her music video Dirrty. Kylie looked amazing in Christiana’s extremely revealing outfit and left little to the imagination (like usual). This was one of the best and most talked about costumes of 2016 and most definitely the best for the Kardashian Clan.
4. Perez Hilton as Miley Cyrus
In 2013, Perez Hilton (a celebrity journalist) dressed in a provocative costume as Miley Cyrus at the 2013 VMA’s. He wore a skin tone colored Playtex leather underwear and bra with a huge foam finger, his hair in space buns and an extra addition, vampire fangs. This costume was provocative, sexy (well, sort of) and controversial all rolled into one. Perez is one of the craziest columnists who is never afraid to throw shade or take a risk, which is exactly what he did in 2013.
5. Beyoncé and Blue Ivy as Janet and Michael Jackson
One of the cutest mother daughter celeb costumes of all time. In 2014 Beyoncé dressed Baby Blue as Michael Jackson while she dressed as Janet Jackson. Blue Ivy was dressed in a red a gold coat and a white glove while Beyoncé dressed in all black. We all love Beyoncé, and after she paid tribute to the iconic pop star MJ, we loved her a little bit more. But seriously, what could be cuter than Blue Ivy as Michael Jackson.
