Music has always been my most comforting outlet of self-expression and my escape from reality. Everyone who knows me knows that I listen to a broad variety of music from lots of different artists and genres. Whenever I am in my car with my friends and they press ‘shuffle’ on my ‘Liked Songs’ playlists on Spotify, we can go from jazz, rap, classic rock, reggae, pop, instrumentals, all the way to soothing nature noises. Growing up, I was always moving from state to state and going to different schools, always having to start over in life. I really held onto music as something that was consistent and never went away. I really enjoy almost any genre and I love keeping up with the latest releases. Every morning I look forward to waking up and going through Spotify’s ‘New Releases’ page while I do my makeup and discovering all the new songs! I thought I would share with any fellow music lovers the top 20 songs I’ve been attached to recently that are helping me get through the school week!
