Taylor Swift is considered to be the Ultimate Girl Boss in the world, Taylor has been able to successfully produce several different albums, including re-recording her old ones. On November 12th, 2021, Taylor Swift dropped “Red (Taylors Version)” which includes 30 different tracks. Taylor decided to re-record her albums since she wants to own the rights to her own music, that she wrote and recorded. Taylor has promised her fans to re-record all 6 of her first albums after Scoot Braun took ownership over her original album. Red is an album that resembles a heartbroken person, Taylor wrote in her recent Instagram post  “It was all over the place, a fractured mosaic of feelings that somehow all fit together in the end. Happy, free, confused, lonely, devastated, euphoric, wild, and tortured by memories past. Like trying on pieces of a new life, I went into the studio and experimented with different sounds and collaborators. And I’m not sure if it was pouring my thoughts into this album, hearing thousands of your voices sing the lyrics back to me in passionate solidarity, or if it was simply time, but something was healed along the way.” Taylor has put passion and dedication in each album she has created and influences young women to do and create what they want, even when others say they can’t. Taylor Swift has touched many people with her music, she has not been afraid to speak up for herself and express herself. When the Scoot Braun incident occurred, Taylor stated ‘Wait, the creators of this work do not own their work, ever?’ I spent 10 years of my life trying rigorously to purchase my masters outright and was then denied that opportunity, and I just don’t want that to happen to another artist if I can help it
God, I would have paid so much for them! Anything to own my work that was an actual sale option, but it wasn’t given to me.” Taylor Swift has used her success and brilliant mind to create a platform for herself and fans that make them feel comfortable with sticking up for themself. As a woman artist, Taylor Swift is dedicated to her work and being an influential artist to young woman. Miss Americana is a documentary about Taylor and all her struggles she has encounters. Swift talks about her own struggles with eating and having an eating disorder. Miss Americana shows Swift’s vulnerability to open up to the world about her personal issues, she stated in the documentary “It’s only happened a few times, and I’m not in any way proud of it. A picture of me where I feel like I looked like my tummy was too big, or… someone said that I looked pregnant… and that’ll just trigger me to just starve a little bit.” She admitted, “I thought that I was just like supposed to feel like I was going to pass out at the end of a show or in the middle of it. I thought that was how it was. Now I realize, no, if you eat food, have energy, get stronger, you can do all these shows and not feel it. Which is a really good revelation.”  Taylor Swift has found her voice and feels the responsibility to touch upon topics like eating disorders. This has made Taylor’s fans feel extremely close to her and her music. She has influenced people to express themselves through forms of art, through seeking help and being themselves. Taylor Swift is the definition of a girl boss, at the age of 31 years old, Taylor has recreated herself and her music several different times but continues to successfully please her fans and create a safe space for them through er music. Taylor Swift continues to inspire young women everywhere, every day through her powerful voice.
