The Struggles of Christmas Shopping As Told By The Office

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNH chapter.

It’s that time of year again, time to start holiday shopping in search of the perfect presents for friends and family. As much as I absolutley love this time of the year, shopping can be exhausting. The mall is one of the most festive and exciting places in December, but it can also be one of the most stressful. Finding the right gift on a budget is a struggle and the employees of Dunder Mifflin understand our pain.

When you’re just trying to get to the mall but the traffic is horrible because everyone is out Christmas shopping

Having to circle the mall parking lot over and over again to find a spot

And when you finally find a parking spot, you have to walk so far in the freezing cold to get inside

When the mall is ridiculously crowded so you can barely move

When an employee tells you the store is sold out of what you were looking for

Getting hangry because you’ve been too busy shopping to eat

Realizing how broke you actually are and how you can’t afford anything

When you’re exhausted from walking around all day

When you finally find something to buy but have to wait in an insanely long line

But once you get that perfect present you know all of the struggles are worth it

Happy Shopping!
