Going home for the first time is always a bittersweet thing. Why would I want to leave UNH? But then again why wouldn’t I want to go home? I have to say it was a little weird being back in CT and not in NH. Here were the pros and cons of going home for the first time last week…..
Pros:

Seeing family

Seeing hometown besties
-
A nice home cooked meal

Sleeping in your own room

Driving around town
-
Hometown coffee shops
-
Doing your laundry without having to pay for it

Everyone is really excited to see you
Cons:

Missing college besties
-
Sleeping schedule was so out of whack
-
Did the same thing everyday (Idk about anyone else but there’s nothing really to do in my town)

Your friends aren’t right down the hall
-
Sometimes you have TOO much free time
-
And finally I personally ended up eating too much McDonalds because that’s where my friends want to go at night
As much as I love being back at UNH I know there was a part of me that missed home. But I also feel like UNH is my home away from home.
