Have you found yourself struggling to thrive as a college student in the classroom, the gym and in your social life? This is for the ladies who want to get the most out of college. Being a college student means being super busy and finding the best ways to manage your time and plan your days out.Â
Some of my favorite habits are:Â
- Getting up early and going to the gym before my first class. By getting the gym done first, it allows me to be focused on school and other activities for the rest of the day. There are some days I need to sleep in or just squeeze in a quick workout, just remember to listen to your body.Â
- While walking on the treadmill at the gym, I like to multitask by watching Netflix, talking to friends and family on the phone or pushing myself to study class notes on my iPad. By doing that, it allows me to get some steps in and check something off my to-do list.Â
- Listening to a podcast on my walk to class. By listening to a podcast, I am able to increase my knowledge, learn about an interesting topic and get inspired to learn or just have a good laugh before class.Â
- Saying “hi” to everyone I pass. By simply saying “hi” to those you pass, you can meet new people or give someone a smile.Â
- Making a to-do list. Staying organized in college is so important because most people have numerous commitments. The last thing anyone wants is to get to class and realize they forgot something or did not finish their homework. So get your notebook and pen out or Notes app and start by writing all your tasks down and then organize by deadlines and priorities.Â
- Trying new things. Trying new experiences is what college is about. Sign up for clubs, go to study groups, talk to someone next to you at the gym or ask classmates to hang out.Â
And that is how you conquer college. Â
