A friend of mine recently sent me the link to a song and said “Put in headphones and close your eyes.” When I did this I was amazed by what I was listening to. With earbuds in playing an 8D song, sound travels around the earbuds and feels like it’s moving in a figure 8 motion through your ears. I found myself falling down a rabbit hole of 8D music to see what other songs were remixed like this. After listening to a handful of songs, I did some research because I didn’t understand why the music sounded like this. I learned that the sound comes from eight different directions and changes where it is coming from so quickly that is creates the swirling effect. Most songs that I listened to sounded insanely cool in 8D, but it’s hard to understand what they’re really like without taking a listen. Here are some of those great 8D songs…
