While I’m sad to see summer go, I can’t deny that I’m thrilled for cooler temperatures, spectacular foliage, pumpkin spice and of course, fall color palettes. I compiled a list of the top five nail trends for the fall of 2025, and personally, I’ll definitely be taking one of these as a reference for my next appointment.

Red Wine Nails

A classic fall color, dark reds are sophisticated and gorgeous. Adding a subtle chrome or glossy top coat really gives it that extra pop.

Polka Dots

This nail style has been having a moment – just ask Sabrina Carpenter, Hailey Bieber, and Dua Lipa (and others). Polka dots are endlessly versatile, so you can swap in any of your favorite fall shades. Or if you want to stick to the basics, a simple black-and-white is just as adorable.

Tortoise Shell Print

Tortoise shell doesn’t just have to be for glasses. This print looks good on all nail styles, whether you go for a full set, accent nails, or a French tip. Its neutral tones are perfect for complementing any fall outfit you might design.

Glittery Jewel Tones

Any deep jewel tone is a perfect match for the fall season. Choosing a polish with a slight shimmer or a little bit of glitter helps your nails stand out and transition effortlessly from casual outfits to party dresses. And dare I say glitter nails start to get me in the holiday spirit already?

Fall-Inspired Icons

While patterned nails have been around for a long while, nail icons are starting to rise in popularity too. There are so many options, it’s hard to choose – you could go for a Halloween theme with ghosts or spiders, lean into a cozy fall with leaves, or embrace the classic pumpkin.
