True crime is an avid passion of mine, as someone who studies forensic science in college. Over the years I’ve listened to hundreds of true crime youtube channels, documentaries and podcasts, and these are my absolute favorites!
1. True Crime with Kendall Rae
True Crime with Kendall Rae is an amazing podcast that started way back around 2016-2017 on YouTube and has since branched out to almost all platforms! Kendall Rae is concise, empathetic, and influential in the true crime community. Watching her directly funds her nonprofit that goes toward victims’ families, and justice for true crime victims. She also offers many ways to get involved with the cases she talks about, in order to reach justice! She is an absolute icon.
2. Light Out Podcast
Similar to True Crime with Kendall Rae, this channel is run by Kendall Rae’s Husband Josh, and their crew at Mile Higher Media. This true crime podcast branches into the darkest true crime and paranormal stories, with a soothing voice. There is dialogue throughout the podcast between Josh and his producer Austin, and they both have voices you could fall asleep to! I’ve been listening to them for years and am constantly waiting on new episodes!
3. Mile Higher Podcast
The last Podcast by Kendall and Josh is the Mike Higher podcast, complete with dialogue between them and Kendall’s cousin and producer, Janelle. They bring in guests and talk about everything from true crime to conspiracy theories! This podcast is a work of pure love by this couple and is a must-listen! There are over 300 episodes, and I’ve listened to every single one!
