We were too, so we looked into how it’ll work and we made a few predictions of our own. (There are no spoiler alerts in this article; they are merely predictions and opinions)
After Chris Soules sent both Kaitlyn and Britt home from Season 19 of The Bachelor, everyone knew that one of them would be asked to be the next bachelorette, but no one predicted that BOTH of them would be asked to be the next bachelorettes.
Since it has been determined that both ladies will be on this upcoming season, let’s meet the bachelorettes –
Kaitly Bristowe

Occupation: Dance instructor
Best known for: Being the funny, light hearted one on Chris’s season of The Bachelor
Britt Nilsson
Age: 27
Hometown: Los Angeles, California
Occupation: Waitress
Best known for: Crying and never taking off her make-up
Still trying to figure out how next season will work? Well, if you remember Byron’s season in 2004, they started out with two bachelors: Jay and Byron. The 25 women were able to meet both bachelors and then at the end of the first cocktail, the women choose which man they wanted to be their bachelor.
Now, they have NOT said that this is definitely how it’ll work for bachelorettes Britt and Kaitlyn, but if it is then the 25 men will get the opportunity to choose if they want Britt or if they want Kaitlyn as their bachelorette and the other will be sent home. As Kaitlyn said on After the Final Rose with Chris Harrison, this situation is not ideal, but it’ll sure make for an interesting season. Another option is that they have two bachelorettes for the entire season and make Britt and Kaitlyn them fight over the men who are fighting over them.
Social media exploded after Harrison made this announcement, specifically on twitter where people started posting their opinions about having two bachelorettes using #teamkaitlyn and #teambritt – even former bachelorette Andi Dorfman joined in on the debate
Now that you have a few ideas of how the upcoming season of The Bachelorette might work, here are a few more predictions for how things will play out
- Britt will try to act like Kaitlyn’s best friend
- Britt will cry on the first night
- Kaitlyn will tell it like it is
- The bachelorettes will get in a heated argument
- Someone will be heartbroken
