Lights! Camera! Fashion! It’s that glorious time of year again where there’s starting to be a slight chill in the air, the leaves are in the beginning stages of changing colors, pumpkin spice lattes are back, oh, and did I mention that it’s also time for College Fashion Week!?
Next Saturday, September 28th for one night only, Her Campus is bringing College Fashion Week to The Revere Hotel in Downtown Boston to showcase Primark’s 2019 fall clothing line and I am so honored that I was chosen to model in the show! Her Campus brings #TheRealRunway to Boston and New York and has college girls from diverse backgrounds and body types rock their confidence in the latest fall fashion to bring to life an inclusive environment full of female empowerment. Not only will all attendees leave with insta-worthy pics but also with a goody bag full of treasures from the show’s sponsors including: Venmo, innisfree, Conair, Disney Maleficent, Nair, Batiste, and State (just to name a few).
It’s seriously a dream come true that I was chosen out of so many amazing women to walk in this year’s show. I went to the Boston show last year with my roommate/bff and it was so empowering that right after the show ended, I looked at her and told her that I wanted more than anything to walk in next year’s show, so I am literally crying of happiness on the inside. The event as a whole last year was one of the most amazing nights I’ve had with other college students my entire college career, the only way I can describe it is an environment full of girl power and encouragement.
