We must admit, we all admire celebrities in one way or another. Whether we are aware of it or not, most of our admiration is contributed to their beauty. Little do we know, celebrities have insecurities and imperfections as well. They may look glamorous for the cameras, but behind all of the makeup, hair and expensive outfits, they are just like us. Celebrities including Kate Upton, Mila Kunis and Kourtney Kardashian often times go out in public without their game face, revealing their bare face. They may display a confident appearance in front of the camera, but they too have their own insecurities.
Mila Kunis admits, “ I don’t think of myself as particularly attractive at all.”
While Megan Fox explains, “I was never the pretty girl.”
Two gorgeous celebrities that most women envy, do not even have the confidence that they appear to. Some celebrities such as Katy Perry even idolize other celebrities. The pop singer tells the public that showing herself without makeup is uncomfortable and that she has always wished for the body of Kate Moss.
Lady Gaga admits, “I don’t think I could live without hair, makeup and styling. Let alone be the performer I am.”
While celebrities reveal that makeup and styling is what makes them feel pretty, we can come to the realization that their beauty and self-esteem is not superior to us, but they are in fact just like us. These celeb confessions teach us that everyone has moments of weakness but it is important to be happy with who you are and accentuate what you have. Girls, keep in mind, perfection does not exist, even in the Hollywood world.
