I love mascara, it is my favorite type of makeup product. Personally, I do not like changing up my routine of the brand of makeup that I use. Over the years however, I have certain types of brands that I have come across and would recommend to anyone who wants to switch up their mascara!

One of the first mascaras that I used is called NYC Big Bold Mascara. It comes in a thick short pink tube with green letters on it. This mascara makes my lashes very long with just one coat. The brush is super thick and gives your lashes a lot of volume. This mascara separates my lashes so they do not look very thick however they still look full. If you want your lashes to look thick you may need to add a couple extra coats. If you are going for a soft and fanned out look this product is perfect for you.

I love Maybelline products and recently I had tried one of their mascara products called, The Falsies Push Up Drama. The wand works well for both your top and bottom lashes which is a plus. From using this product you will get long lashes that last all day and not smudge. However, it comes on very thin so if you like thick lashes you may want to use this mascara as a bottom coat then use another one on top. If you are like me and use many coats, it may begin to clump a little.

When I first tried Rimmel London Lash Accelerator Endless Fibres Mascara I was very disappointed. The brush was very thin and I do not like thin brushes. I learned instead of throwing this product out, I can use it to spread my lashes out which adding volume to them. If you are looking for a mascara to make your lashes thick I would not recommend this. However, if you’re looking for length and separation of your lashes this product may be for you. I personally only use this product to separate my lashes before adding other mascara on them or using this to fix my smudges lashes.

The mascara that I am currently using is from Sephora, it is called Better Than Sex.  It is by far my favorite mascara that I have tried out. It makes your lashes look fake and give them a lot of volume. All you need is a couple coats and it does wonders.  It does not clump up your lashes and is very easy to get off. It does not flake off or smudge. This product is very dark and black which is also a plus! I have no negative comments to add about this other than it is expensive!
