We are so excited to have actress (and now certified model, at least in our book) Jamie Brewer as our Women Crush Wednesday this week.

You may know her from her reoccurring role on the American Horror Story series, but just recently, Jamie became the first model with Down Syndrome (not Down Syndrome model, because yes, there is a difference) to walk the catwalk during New York Fashion Week. 

It broke our hearts in season one of AHS when Jamie’s character “just wanted to be a pretty girl” for Halloween. But, we must say that she has always been a very pretty woman.

Jamie looked amazing as she walked in Carrie Hammer’s “Role Models Not Runway Models” campaign which featured many other beautiful role models. 

Brewer was interviewed on her walk by the “Today” show, where she raved about the idea that she could be an inspiration to young women, and was happy to see that young women could look at her and say, “Hey, if she can do it, so can I.”
