By now virtually everyone knows Prince Harry is engaged to marry soon-to-be American royalty Meghan Markle. As such, the world is eagerly anticipating the royal wedding in May.
On Monday, January 22, 2018, yet another royal was taken off the dating market. Royal.uk published the announcement of Princess Eugenie and Mr. Jack Brooksbank’s engagement!
They will marry this fall at George’s Chapel in Windsor, the same one Prince Harry and Ms. Markel will tie the knot in this May. Princess Eugenie and Mr. Brooksbank became engaged earlier this month on vacation in Nicaragua (total goals!).
Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring (below left) bears a striking resemblance to her mother’s, Sarah Ferguson (below right). Ms. Ferguson’s pink gem was a Burmese ruby, while Princess Eugenie’s exhibits an incredibly rare padparadscha sapphire surrounded by diamonds. She is not the only royal with a sapphire in her engagement ring (hint: Duchess Kate!).
Princess Eugenie is the daughter of Prince Andrew, Duke of York, and Sarah Ferguson. As cousin to Prince Harry, the Princess is eighth in line to the British throne. Princess Eugenie works as the associate director at art gallery Hauser & Wirth.
Her prince charming (not actually a prince) is Jack Brooksbank. Born to an accountant, he went to school in Buckinghamshire, England (literally the most British sounding place on the planet). He currently works as the UK brand ambassador for Casamigos Tequila to high profile hotels and private clubs.
No doubt both weddings will influence the brides’ dreams of their perfect days around the world!
