Sam is undoubtedly one of the friendliest and most down-to-earth people you’ll meet at UNCW.  Her vivacious spirit, radiant personality, and quirky sense of humor will bring a smile your face, guaranteed.  Read on to discover the charm of Sam Farquhar.

HC: What are you most looking forward to in your time left at UNCW?

SF: Getting my life together and finding out what I’m supposed to do before time runs out and I end up on the streets somewhere as a circus performer.  I can’t juggle, though, so I don’t know how that’s ‘gonna go.

HC: What’s your favorite memory from college so far?

SF: All of my stories have to do with other people, so I think the people is what makes college memorable.  The people you surround yourself with either makes it or breaks it.  Without the people, you’d go insane.  Without my friends, I’d probably be a street performer.

HC: What’s your idea of an ideal date?

SF: One that I don’t end up paying for and preferably I don’t say anything awkward, but that always happens anyway.  It’d be fun.  Hopefully some good food is involved and we’d go do something, like a fun activity.

HC: If you could be any Disney character for one day, who would it be and why?

SF: Mulan.  I’d really just like to have a little pet dragon that talks to me but also be able to kick some ass when I need to.

HC: If you could super-size any animal and ride it into battle, which would you choose?

SF: A mantis shrimp.  They’re pretty hardcore.  The Oatmeal has an awesome article about them.

HC: Tell us something not many people know about you.

SF: I have two state championships in kick boxing.
