Junior Year, As Told By The Office

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNCW chapter.

Everyone told us that junior year of college was a tough one, but we’ve lived in denial until now. As we near the end of the fall semester, our lives couldn’t be more stressful and hectic. Here are some things that we’ve all dealt with our junior year, told by your favorite staff in Scranton, Pennsylvania.

1. You’re taking hard classes in your major which means you actually have to try in school. Life just got real.

2. You realize that you need to get an internship to put on your resume.

3. You also realize that you need to get a part-time job to have some money.

4. Now you’re trying to balance school, an internship, and a job. You basically have no life.

5. You have no free time, let alone any time to take care of yourself.

6. Eating healthy? You’re lucky if you eat at all.

7. You master making up excuses for not doing work.

8. Sometimes your friends convince you to go out, but you always end up wishing you were home instead.

9. Mostly because you usually end up at a house party with freshmen. You’re just too old now . . . and tired.

10. Your idea of a good time is chilling at home and watching Netflix.

11. Despite how stressed, starving, and sleep deprived you are, you know that you’ll be getting a well-deserved break soon.
