Wilmington Wet Card (the ILM’s number one source for great deals and even better parties) is bringing us yet another awesome darty, and we couldn’t be more excited.
The Halfway to Summer Block Party will be held at Lighthouse Student Apartments (4955 Pepys Lane, Wilmington NC, 28403) on Saturday, March 25 from 1-5 PM.
Attendees can expect live music, vendors (Wet Card sold EVERY booth available for this party!) free food, giveaways, and an inflatable obstacle course.
UNCW’s own Spoon University will have a booth, selling pies to pie your friends for $2 or $1 to pie a Spoon member, and a “water pong” table (because who plays beer pong with actual beer in the cups? Gross and wasteful.)
Since the party is BYOB, your ID is required for entry, but there’s no fee (even if you’re under 21). Refreshing, right?
The weather is looking promising, so come out ready for delicious free food, sunshine, and tons of games and prizes.
Parking for attendees that don’t live at Lighthouse will be available across the street in the Sam’s Club parking lot — but please remember to make responsible decisions about driving. If you’ve had even one drink, you’re not good to drive. Take an Uber or grab a ride home with someone that you know is 100% sober. We want you all to make it to summer, not just halfway!
