HC: What is the best part about being a student at UNCW?
AL: Meeting new people that come from all over the world. Like today I tried to have a conversation with this guy from Germany; I mean, it didn’t go over well but, it was cool!
HC: Are you involved in any clubs or organizations on campus?
AL: Duh, if you aren’t involved what are you doing?! I’m living on the LEAD (Leadership and Service Learning Community) floor in Hewlett, I’m the secretary of the American Sign Language club, I’m a My Stand mentor for CARE, I’m a part of SAND (Seahawk Admissions Network for Diversity), and I’m a sports reporter for Teal TV.
HC: Describe your dream job!
AL: I want to be a sports reporter for ESPN and possibly meet my future husband while I’m working.
HC: Any hobbies?
AL: I’m a Netflix addict, I love to eat food…like all food, and I can usually be found sitting on the floor eating ice cream with my roommate.
HC: What qualities do you look for in a guy?
AL: He has to have big arms, a good sense of humor, be spiritual, hopefully be an introvert like me, and would be willing to dance with me in the middle of the road if I decided I wanted to.
HC: What is your ideal date?
AL: Going out to dinner wherever, then doing an activity of some sort like roller skating or something fun like that. After that, I would want to order pizza and watch Netflix (preferably friends because I’m in the middle of season six!) because why not eat twice on a date?
HC: What are you afraid of and why?
AL: I’m afraid of wasps because I was once stung by fives wasps at the same time. I didn’t do anything to them, they just came at me!
HC: What (or who) is your spirit animal?
AL: Olivia Pope. I mean I wouldn’t have an affair with a married man or anything, but she’s a boss!
