It’s September, and you know what that means…FALL is upon us! Despite the 80 degree weather here in the South, I can’t help but dream about crisp fall evenings and the smell of pumpkin spice everywhere. Here are the 10 things that make this season the best one.
1. Scarves, Sweaters, & Leggings
Fall clothing is the best by far. Seriously what is better than throwing on a pair of leggings and a scarf? You can look cute without even trying. And don’t let anyone tell you that leggings aren’t pants, because they totally are.
2. Fall Decor
Nothing is more relaxing than decorating for fall. My house currently looks like a fall advertisement for Hobby Lobby. I may or may not be there looking for fall decor every week this month…
3. Pumpkin Spice Everything
Pumpkin Spice is in everything. While it can be a little much, you can’t deny it’s one of fall’s long-standing traditions that you either hate to love or love to hate.
4. Halloween
According to Mean Girls, “Halloween is the one day a year when a girl can dress up like a total slut and no other girls can say anything else about it.” Or you could be like Cady Heron and go as something scary. Either way, dressing up for a night is always fun!
5. Football
Fall means football season! Whether you know much about football or not, you can’t deny that the guys don’t look too shabby out there on the field.
6. Movie Nights
The colder weather means staying in more and watching movies with your girlfriends. Grab some popcorn and watch some oldies-but-goodies from your childhood! Hocus Pocus is a fall must, and if you haven’t seen it, then watch it right now. I mean it!
7. Apple Picking
No, I’m not talking about picking up the latest Apple product. While that would be nice, I’m talking about good, old-fashioned apple picking on an apple farm.
8. Pumpkin Carving
No matter how old you are, carving pumpkins is always fun.
9. The Weather
Fall weather is the perfect in-between. It’s not too hot, not too cold, and perfect for cuddling.
