The Underrated Magic of the Ice Roller

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UNCG chapter.

We have all been there: the hangovers, the late night cookout runs, and the all-nighters for those awful finals and let’s face it…we all look terrible the following morning and ladies (and some gents), I have a solution for you. Are you ready? Drum roll please…I introduce to you the Ice Roller!! This handheld ice machine was made by God himself and let me tell you why.

For starters, I bought mine a few months ago and I am in love with it! The ice roller reduces redness and any areas of your face that are puffy. For the best results, retailers recommended using the product daily (morning preferably). I tend to use mine first thing in the morning because I always wake up looking like a little puffball in the face. Within 10 minutes my face looks normal again, and it also helps replenish and rejuvenate my skin for the rest of the day. Additionally, it freezes wrinkles and is a good way to prime your face for make-up!

Before I started using my ice roller religiously I had headaches everyday. I noticed that my headaches started to not be as bad after using the ice roller and on good days, they’d even go away! So now, every time I feel a heachache coming on, I grab my ice roller from the freezer, roll my face for about 10 minutes while laying in bed, and watch Netflix. Then, bam, it’s gone.                     I am telling you guys that as a college student this is a MUST-BUY item! It helps with hangovers, acne, puffiness, and even dark circles! You can buy them anywhere online. So please…do your skin a favor and go buy one of these! Here is one cheap example!

You won’t be sorry.
