What should I wear today?

How in the world are you supposed to operate in a seasonal transition like the one that has been happening these past couple of weeks? Summer and Fall are clearly having a tug of war and your laundry basket keeps piling up with the morning sweaters and the midday sweaty t-shirts. And you are still wondering how to operate with this moody North Carolina weather. Fret not, continue reading for some tips!

The daily weather trends seem to consist of overcast mornings, blistering hot afternoons, and soggy walks home at night. How does one look fashionable, remain comfortable, while also being functional?

What’s hot and cool at the same time? The answer is sheer clothing!

Below is a page of the lightweight sheer trend from Fashion Snoops webpage that was posted on September 29,2016:

The ultra light weight and the volume keeps you both warm (with the long sleeves) and cool during the changing temperatures, while also appearing fashion forward in your attire.

As for the rain, don’t wear sandals or boots. Instead wear shoes resembling Keds or Vans to keep your feet dry, but also warm or cool for the varying temperature changes throughout the day.

You can carry this look into the Autumn season, and be the first to sport the new trends on your campus.
