Hi my name is Anjelica Martin and I love to explore, especially Greensboro. And one of my favorite finds in Greensboro is Design Archives Emporium. Located in downtown Greensboro, this creative shop has multiple unique vendors or small businesses inside of it’s shop. Being a business school student I think this is the coolest thing for four reasons: It has vintage fashion, handmade items, local business/vendors, and it’s an awesome place to go with your friends.
The vintage fashion is so cute and quirky. From 90’s sunglasses to 70’s prom dresses, Design Archives has it all. Including handmade items usually made locally in Greensboro. By going to Design Archives you are supporting local businesses/vendors that could be your neighbors. Not only is it an awesome place to shop, but also an awesome place to go with friends and just try on new things. Trying on crazy clothes and taking pictures is one of my all time favorite things to do at Design Archives. Because it’s located downtown, 342 South Elm St, Greensboro, NC, 27401, it’s not a far walk from campus or housing right off of campus. Design Archives is always looking for fresh, new talented vendors, so you can sell there too! You’ll feel good shopping there and supporting local small businesses/vendors/your neighbors. Whether you are searching for a gift or a vintage outfit for a special event or just trying on clothes with friends, I believe it will put a smile on your face.
