What It Means to Wear the Pants

When I found out I was selected to wear and blog about a pair of pants from Ann Taylor Loft, I could hardly contain my excitement.  

LOFT is the perfect place to find trendy business clothes, and the pair of pants I was asked to model was just that.  Pin-striped and charcoal grey, these lightweight pants fit like a glove.  

Wearing the pants makes me feel professional and stylish: two things I’m sure all collegiates hope to find in a pair of business pants.  They can be paired with anything from a blouse to a cute sweater to a pea coat.  Not to mention that at 5’5″, I definitely benefited from the leg-lengthening style of the pants.  

In addition to being all around fabulous, they are also extremely flexible!  I wore my pants all around campus including to work, class, the Dean Dome, and out with my friends.  Literally everywhere.  I’m not going to lie, I didn’t want to take them off!  They were so comfortable, and I received compliments from my friends all day.  Some of them even asked me to borrow them after seeing me wear them everywhere.  

To me, wearing the pants means to feel confident, strong, intelligent and fashionable.  I think it is necessary that every girl has a staple pair of pants you can wear to work or class and feel priceless in.  When you feel confident, others reflect off of that, and what we wear can have a huge impact on the attitudes we portray.

Needless to say, wearing the pants made me feel awesome about myself!  While at work and class, I felt professional and ready for whatever challenge might come my way – and I looked good doing it!
